THE SOUNDER EXCELS.

OVERVIEW

Crafted from all-welded aluminum inside and out, Almar by North River Boats are designed to last and every component is selected with function and reliability in mind.

With little maintenance, your Sounder will stand up to the elements and remain free of corrosion and rust for years to come. The Sounder features a 20 degree (symbol) or 24 degree (symbol) deep vee bottom, offering a stable, soft ride, and excellent maneuverability at both high and low speeds as well as your choice of a fully enclosed cabin, center console, wheel house or walk around cabin.

Framing is key to the Sounder’s durable design: our unique suspended frame construction is supported from the bottom plate in the inside by longitudinal “T” bar stringers. The tress frames sit on top of the stringers, keeping the bottom flat for better performance and maneuverability. Lengthwise welding prevents shearing on impact, and promotes better drainage and ease of repair.

Even down to the smallest details, the Sounder excels: railing and cleats are welded to the hull. The standard or extended range fuel tank is concealed in a watertight compartment. When conditions get rough a self-bailing deck with large scupper drain valves and heavy-duty construction ensure maximum durability and safety.

While the Sounder’s durability is unmistakeable, it doesn’t come at the cost of comfort. Inside the cabin you’ll find ample room to add a full complement of marine electronics as well as extras such as an under-the-counter refrigerator, microwave or built-in coffee maker. You want it, you’ve got it: your boat can be customized to include almost anything, even the kitchen sink.
